Benefits
The University of Manitoba Scholarship is fully funded. It will cover tuition fees, and provide;
● MSc Position: Minimum stipend of CAD $21,000/year
● PhD Position: Minimum stipend of CAD $26,000/year
Start Dates: Flexible – Fall 2025, Winter 2026, or Summer 20
Requirements
● Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
• Biosystems Engineering
• Electrical/Computer Engineering
• Agricultural/Biological Engineering
• Or related fields
● Programming and data analysis (MATLAB, Python, etc.)
● Experience in machine learning and deep learning
● Knowledge of sensors (NIR, X-ray, HSI, gas sensors)
● Grain handling, post-harvest metrics, or storage modeling
● Scientific publications or prior research experience
