Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist Doctor to join our eye care team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing vision problems and eye diseases, and prescribing corrective lenses or treatments.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.

Key Responsibilities

● Conduct thorough eye and vision examinations for patients of all ages

● Diagnose and manage eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration

● Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and vision therapy as needed

● Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery

● Educate patients on proper eye care, hygiene, and disease prevention

● Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

● Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals as needed

●Stay current with advancements in optometry and participate in continuing education

Qualifications

● Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school

● Valid optometry license in Nigeria

● Strong diagnostic and clinical skills

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
