Description
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled Pediatrician to join our founding clinical team in Abuja and help transform the future of pediatric healthcare.
Responsibilities
As a Pediatrician at St. Ruth Children’s Research Hospital, you will:
● Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients aged 0–18 years.
● Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of childhood illnesses, especially oncology, hematology, and infectious diseases.
● Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pediatric oncologists, hematologists, nurses, and researchers.
● Participate in clinical trials and pediatric research projects.
● Educate and support families regarding child health, treatment plans, and preventive care.
● Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices.
● Supervise and mentor pediatric residents and fellows as part of our education mission.
● Uphold the hospital’s commitment to compassionate, equitable, and excellence-driven care.
Requirements
● Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
● Full registration and license to practice medicine in Nigeria.
● Residency training in Pediatrics (Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians [FWACP] or National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria [FMCPaed] is an advantage).
● Minimum of 2–5 years post-residency experience preferred.
● Previous experience in pediatric oncology, hematology, or infectious disease care (preferred but not mandatory).
